Speech Therapy for Norwalk, CT Families and Adults

Who we see from Norwalk

Children

Late talkers and toddlers who aren't yet putting words together. Preschoolers and school-age kids working on speech sounds, language, reading and comprehension, including children who are learning English alongside another language at home. Children who didn't qualify for school-based services but still need support, and children who do but need more one-on-one time. Feeding and swallowing concerns in infants and toddlers. Learn more about our pediatric speech therapy.

Adults

Voice changes, hoarseness and vocal fatigue. Stuttering. Speech, language, swallowing and cognitive-communication recovery after a stroke or brain injury, including patients coming out of Norwalk Hospital's rehabilitation programs. Our lead clinician's background is in hospital acute care, so adult neurological cases are a core part of the practice. Learn more about our adult speech therapy.

Getting to us from Norwalk

We're at 17 Bridge Square in Westport, just off the Post Road (Route 1) by the Saugatuck River. From East Norwalk or Rowayton it's about 10 minutes east on Route 1 or I-95 to Exit 17; from Silvermine and West Norwalk, plan on 15 to 20. For families who'd rather skip the drive, most of what we do works well over telehealth, and many Norwalk families alternate between in-person and video sessions.

Insurance for Norwalk patients

We are in-network with Anthem, Cigna and Aetna. For other plans, we provide a coded receipt (superbill) after each visit that you can submit for out-of-network reimbursement. Every patient has access to an online portal for reports, invoices and scheduling.
